2024-2025 Volunteer Opportunities
The Booster Club executive board is looking to add new perspectives and energy to our team for the 2024-25 school year.
Descriptions of Open Board Positions for 24-25 school year:
President or Co-President – We would like to have two people in this role to ensure a smooth transition. This person is responsible for overseeing all activities, chairing the meetings and supporting the rest of the team. Time commitment is about 5 hours per month.
Vice-President – This person supports the president and oversees the communications committee.
Secretary – This person keeps a record of all the proceedings of the general and executive board meetings of the club. Time commitment is about 5 hours per month.
Treasurer or Co-Treasurer – This team ensures funds are in the right place, runs monthly reports, supports online fundraising campaigns, etc. Time commitment is about 10 hours per month each.
Member at Large – These people attend the executive board meetings and support the various committees and activities. Time commitment is about 3-5 hours per month.
Concessions Chair – This person oversees concessions activities, manages inventory, considers new menu items and manages equipment and facility issues. Time commitment is about 10-15 hours per month.
Membership/Online Payment Chair - This person keeps track of membership. Time commitment 10-12 hours in September and March, 1-2 hours per month for all other months.
Fundraising Chair – This person coordinates and leverage a variety of fundraisers, including the silent auction, banners, etc. Estimated time commitment is 3-5 hours per month.
Social Media Chair - This person is responsible for promoting the activities of the Booster Club through ongoing communication efforts using social media tools and the website. This person will be responsible for the website and other social media platforms. Time commitment is 3-5 hours per month.
Booster Club Committees for 24-25 School Year:
External Relations Liaison – This new position will connect with the other high schools and AAPS to understand policies, identify best practices and look for synergies. Expected time commitment is 1-2 hours per month.
Communications Committee – Supports the social media chair. Time commitment is about 3-5 hours per month.
Concessions Committee – Supports the concessions chair. Time commitment is about 3-5 hours per month.
Fundraising Committee – This team manages the online and event logistics related to the various fundraisers. Time commitment is about 20-30 hours total.
