Ann Arbor Huron Athletic Booster Club Grant Program
All Ann Arbor Public School-sanctioned athletic teams of Huron High School are eligible to apply for grants established by the Athletic Booster Club.
For the academic year, the Booster club has budgeted $4,000 per sport season (Fall, Winter, Spring).
To qualify for a grant, a Team Funding Request form must be completed. Also, in order to qualify, a team must show that they actively participate in the Booster Club. This can include, but is not limited to, things such as: attendance at general booster meetings, involvement with booster club fundraisers such as the concessions program, and volunteering time to be part of the booster club. Requests should be submitted electronically. This is to make sure it is received as soon as possible, instead of having to be picked up at the school. If you are having trouble with the form or questions about submitting, please email the booster club at [email protected] and the grant chair will follow up for assistance.
Please make sure to include the following information:
The request will be reviewed for appropriateness and team relativity. Funds will be made available to cover items that can preferably be used to benefit teams now and in future years. The Athletic Booster Club Executive Board meets regularly and will respond to applications for the current year.

LIMITATIONS
The maximum grant will not exceed half (50%) of the expected cost. The type of purchase and the athletic team’s funding ability will be taken into consideration. Teams are expected to raise funds to support the every day activities and needs of the team such as uniforms, transportation, etc. However, periodically it is expected that a team will need assistance in purchasing certain items necessary for the team’s success. The Booster Club would like to help and ensure that opportunity for each and every team.

- Description and purpose of request
- A profile of the team’s financial ability to pay
- Who will benefit from the team’s participation in Booster Club programs and activities
- Statement regarding team member benefits if grant is approved
- Intentions of team to participate in fundraising to cost-share in purchase
