Scholar Athlete
All Huron student-athletes, who play on a Huron team or on a Huron co-op team, at any level (freshman, junior varsity or varsity), during the current school year are eligible for a Huron Boosters Scholar-Athlete Award. To earn this award the student-athlete must have a 3.2 semester grade point average at their sport's season entry eligibility grade check. The applicable semester for each season's entry eligibility check are as follows:
Fall - 2nd semester grades from previous school year
Winter& Spring - 1st semester grades of current school year
Freshman, all seasons - 1st semester grades of current school year.
In addition to being a scholar athlete honoree, each scholar athlete are eligible for the Scholar-Athlete Scholarship. Booster club awards a $1,000 scholarship to an athlete representing women's sports and an athlete that represents men's sports.
